Sorry guys, I am a bit late for this next and last blog about the trip; I was too busy dealing with reality!
So the conversation from Belgium to France was:
“Are we there yet?”
“Are we nearly there yet?”
“Are we near the ferry yet?”
“Are we near the English Channel?”
As soon as we had reached the border of France there was a bit of an accident. I was sick again, then I had a tummy ache. I guess I was over-excited to go back to home, sweet home but I was also sad because this wonderful journey was coming to an end.
Here we are boarding onto the ferry with my friend, Soham (that is what our car’s name is), the object that has taken me and my family successfully from Mumbai to London – the last leg of the journey!
When we got to Dover, my mum and dad were there to welcome us and my best friend came along to surprise me! What a lovely surprise it was!
Then we headed off to London to take one last photo of the convoy at our final destination.
Then awaiting at the hotel were all of my close friends and family that had flown over from India just to greet us.
Here are my last few words about this journey on this blog:
This is how long the journey has been!
It has just been one very long dream that has been a simply mind-blowing. The experiences, wow! And the company, great!! So all’s well that ends well, right?!? Hey now to look at the other side, I get to go back home and spend time with my mum and dad and back to school routines and the usual drama!
